Untitled. From the series 'Myth of Utopia'

By Grete Tvarkunaite

My beloved and I hitchhiked through both Europe without any fixed destination or route in mind. These people turned their backs on modern civilisation and its emphasis on consumerism and productivity for greater autonomy and freedom, choosing instead the slower, if inconvenient, life that paces itself with nature.
